WAP INTERNATIONAL JURY POOL

The selection of the GCHERA World Agriculture Prize Laureate is made by an International Jury.
The Jury is composed of a panel of  individuals who are knowledgeable about various aspects relating to the agricultural and life sciences – including but not limited to agriculture, forestry, natural resources, food, bio-based products, bio-energy, rural development and the environment. The Jury members are selected yearly from the International Jury Pool made up of distinguished individuals from around the world.

The Jury members selected from the International Jury Pool each year remain anonymous except for the Chair. The Jury members sign a confidentiality agreement that precludes them from sharing any information with a third party. Additionally, Jury members cannot delegate their responsibility. The minutes of the Committee’s meetings and the views expressed by its members are confidential to the Jury.
